Step into a flavorful Thai food experience with the Blue Elephant Cooking Class and Market Visit (market visit is for morning class only) in Phuket. Thai cuisine is celebrated worldwide for its bold tastes and fragrant ingredients, and this immersive experience invites you to discover what makes it so special.
Suitable for beginners and experienced cooks alike, the class offers practical, hands-on learning led by a highly respected Thai culinary expert. From selecting ingredients at a local market to preparing authentic dishes, this journey is designed to elevate your cooking skills.
Your experience begins at the historic Governor’s Residence in Phuket, where a welcome drink sets the tone for the day.
For morning class: you’ll explore a lively morning market alongside the chef, learning how to identify fresh produce, herbs, and spices while understanding their role in traditional Thai cooking. Returning to the cooking school, you’ll enjoy a refreshing herbal drink and brief introduction before learning the fundamentals behind creating a fantastic 4 Thai menu.
For afternoon class: we add one more dish, totally 5 menu.
Each day we provide different menu
In the kitchen, you’ll work at your own cooking station, using traditional equipment to prepare a complete meal. With guidance from the instructors, you’ll practice essential Thai cooking techniques while crafting a starter, soup, main course, and side dish.
The experience concludes with a certificate and a special keepsake, followed by a relaxing lunch at the Blue Elephant Restaurant, where you can enjoy the dishes you’ve prepared and leave with the confidence to recreate Thai flavors at home.
