Chiang Mai: Doi Inthanon National Park One Day Tour

Doi Inthanon National Park, often called "The Roof of Thailand," is one of the country's most breathtaking natural destinations. After his passing, his remains were placed in the park as per his wishes, and the area was renamed Doi Inthanon in his memory.

The park’s diverse ecosystem includes moist evergreen cloud forests, sphagnum bogs above 1,800 meters, as well as dry evergreen, pine, mixed deciduous, and dipterocarp forests at lower elevations. Its biodiversity makes it an essential conservation site.

Doi Inthanon experiences a rainy season from May to October, with peak rainfall between July and September. The rest of the year is relatively dry, with the coldest months between November and February, offering crisp mountain air and misty landscapes.
